Once upon a time, in a data center not so far, far away, the contractors were very good at taking their unionized breaks. And good at redoing the same work 67 times, unfortunately.
Our current contractor woe is mild compared to not having a kitchen. We just have the Nile flood plain show up, without pyramids, in your dining room when it rains. Aparently the outside concrete has cracks which are allowing water to seep in and come into the apartment through the floor/wall joints.
The contractor seems to be always busy elsewhere. I think it is a matter of out of sight, out of mind.
BTW--what's up with buffy this season? I get my buffy info through gatopreto, who gets it from you...

New Buffy starts tomorrow night at 8 o'clock sharp!

And we've got a kitchen, it's just not finished. Now I'm thinking I should count my blesssings, as there's no Nile Flood Delta appearing as yet...
