Comic book store daydreams
Aug. 25th, 2002 12:03 pmThere is always more to say...
So, this morning, Christopher and I were speculating on where to go to buy our comic books, and lamenting the closing of the only local comic book store, years ago. He started trying to convince me that *I* should open a comic shop. I pointed out that I knew nothing about comics. There I'd be behind the counter with the baby and totally ignorant and the fan boys would freak.
Then it occured to me that I could dress in funky costumes if I worked in and managed a comic book shop. I could be a space princess one day and a demoness another and a pirate another and so on. Why do all comic book store workers not dress up? Surely they cannot be trying to pass themselves off as non-greeks.
